I earned an economics degree from Brown University in 1989. And have worked tirelessly to reverse the damage ever since. A decade of proprietary trading helped (Lehman Brothers, Credit Suisse, NY, London, Chicago, San Fran). Leading a TH Lee Putnam funded start-up through the turbulent dotcom years didn't hurt. And building Grant Capital Partners, a discretionary global macro hedge fund, from the depths of the '08 crisis to $1.25bln in assets contributed too. I’m now building Peters Capital Group, an investment advisor focused on delivering innovative alternative-investment products and services to institutional investors. When not at home with the team, I spend my time spinning around the globe - exchanging ideas, debating policy, identifying investment opportunities, and discussing business strategy, with many of the world's top hedge fund managers, family offices, pension plans, alternative investors, economists, strategists, politicos, media folks, and business leaders.
